How can best principles and practises in religion guide us to Liberation?

Hindu Principles and Practices.

“Understanding Hinduism”,  by Dr DC Rao,  is an excellent treatise on best principles and practises in the religion that we call “Hinduism”.   Much of which we can apply to our own lives, directly or indirectly,  with some adaption.   I publish the full text here un-edited, for our investigation of the Dharma.  On four separate webpages,  nested behind this one.

It was previously published by Inter-Faith Conference of Metropolitan Washington [www.ifcmw.org]

Unfortunately,  many of Dr Rao’s references to Hindu scriptures are missing, or mis-copied,  but I hope to rectify these soon.

There is another treatise of same name, author and themes but rewritten into Question and Answer style.   Available at –
