The Song.

On “Songs for the Sangha”,  by Deva Premal and Miten,  with Manose, 2015.
Not really a song to sing along to,  perhaps better to listen to.  Such meditative singing by Deva.  Spencer Cozens on piano and Udi Benknaan on the bowed lyre are very moving and striking, and create a moody atmosphere. Available at -

The Mantra.

An important theme for developing good will,  and wishing well for all peoples, including ourselves.

May we all be well, at peace, full of purity and have beneficial, joyful and prosperous fortune.  May we all be happy, in health, and have fortunate and pleasant experience.  And may none be, even a little, in suffering.

bhavatu,  bhavantu,  and santu  all mean “may there be”,  or “let there be”,  or “become”  or “be”.
